Be Good!

So what is the number one question my seniors ask me?? What should I wear? I can work with almost anything you give me.  I’ve photographed some wild prints and I always suggest solids.  I like solids because I can match them to any background, outside or in. We are currently booking for the class of 2011.

I’m also announcing that I will be having an open Marie Q Model Call for the Graduating class of 2012 on Sunday April 12th from 12-3 at the studio.  We’ll be having a test shoot area set up in the studio.  Everyone should wear jeans and a simple black shirt for the test shoot.  Two Models will be chosen for all the local high schools in this area.  If you want to find out more info please email me at marie@marieq.com.  I’ll be posting more info as the date get closer.

On a different note, don’t you think my first senior photographed above looks a little like Kate Winslet?

I’m sorry you have been feeling neglected.  Between the cute little duck pictures last week and all of these recent seniors free time has been something I have had very little of.  I’m sorry for what I am about to do to you but I need to catch up and instead of doing this one at a time I am going to do a marathon post tonight.  Please don’t be mad.  The seniors of 2010 are getting closer to graduation and as we get closer it will get only busier.  But I promise to be back… Really… promise

So here are a few of the seniors I’ve photographed in the past couple of weeks.

The very beautiful Hannah, a Waxahachie High School Senior, was in this week.  We raced through a session, shared some stories, laughed a little, reminisced a lot.

Last week, JoJo aka Joseph, also from Waxahachie, came in with his shiny toy.  I have to say this is the sweetest car I’ve seen a senior drive yet.  Puts my little red Mistsubishi Eclipse I was so proud of when I was a high school senior to shame.

And Anthony, a Midlothian High School Senior, came in for his pictures the day before heading off for a cruise to Cozymel.  Is it me – or is High School very different to the High School I survived?

I spent last night photographing  Leigh and Ted’s wedding.  I’ll be writing more when I post their slideshow preview on Sunday.

Take a look…. you can hear everyone screaming, “Happy New Year!!!”  What a great way to bring in this new year.
