Our fascination with mirrors starts at a very young age. Its interesting to watch how everyone looks at themselves in the mirror. My daughter is a movie star in the mirror, she can really work it. A certain someone I live with has a way of sucking in his cheeks and becoming a fish when he walks by any reflection. And myself… I always tilt my head down. Don’t know why, but I do.
Whenever I put a baby or young child in front of the mirror its innocent and free of vanity. They see their reflections and they wonder, “is that me, what am I wearing??”
Typically I use the mirror as a distraction so kids can forget I’m there with big ol’ camera. But I just loved the way she looked at herself. And down below is what it looked like after the mirror break.
