So much about this day reminded me of my own wedding. Saturday morning finally came and the weather was less than desirable. During our 8:00 am drive to the The Crescent Hotel, snow flurries sprinkled the windshield. We unloaded to find the bride helping her flower girl get ready. The room was filled with music she selected to keep her relaxed. The hustle and bustle of preparing for the big day was at an all time high, yet everyone remained calm.
After the pre-ceremony photography the bride and groom wanted a moment alone together. Something special just for the two of them to share. The groom and I waited in the wrong room and Mike, my second photographer, came and found us and we relocated. The moment was indeed special.
So many special touches filled the day, including the book that Tyler used to propose to Lauryn. He cut out a square in the inside and placed her ring in it. The Ring bearer carried it down the aisle. The group was intimate and love was in fact everywhere.
