I spent this weekend working on shooting, editing and day dreaming. All of you expect me to do the first two… but it is really dangerous when the day dreaming is included. My mind is finally starting to think creatively again after a small dry spell after the holidays. I was even suffering from writers block.
On Saturday, I had my third patient from Dr. Morgan’s office in a week stop by for her mini session to celebrate getting her braces off. Something about Tori (and I’m sorry if I spelled your name wrong) comes across in a photograph as so sweet it is STICKY sweet. It’s the way she smiles – no doubt she is proud and happy to have those braces off.
Then 2 week old Baby Girl Kinley came in for her photo shoot. All that hair, and those sweet little lips, not to mention the baby blues. I normally show all newborns in black and white, but it would be such an injustice to not show off those sparkling blue eyes.
I will be continuing my growth as a photographer tomorrow by attending a seminar in Dallas. I will be out of the studio and returning on Wednesday.
