{The Siplas}

This was a very quaint and intimate wedding. The ceremony was at Sardis Methodist Church and the reception followed at the loft.  It was the first time I had photographed in that church and it was small and perfect for an intimate wedding.  When I arrived, I walked into the sanctuary and I could smell the Old English Lemon furntiure polish.  Everything was wood and red velvet with stained glass windows on all sides of the church.  Stepping in there you do step back in time.  The loft is always pretty for reception pictures because of the twinkle lights and the awesome natural light that shines through the windows.  It ended with a carriage ride on a chilly night through dowtown to the Retreat House at Chaska House.  It was the first time I Had seen that little gem in Waxahachie too.  What a nice little get away for a night.
