With permission from the Gritsavage Family, I am writing about a maternity session I did yesterday for Now I lay Me Down to Sleep. Angela contacted me last week about photographing a maternity session for her family consisting of her husband Ed, and Elijah and Josiah, her two sons. She is expecting Levi, her third son, who has a severe case of Trisomy X and if born alive, is expected to live less then 24 hours.
I write this to share with all of you the wonderful group that Now I lay Me Down to Sleep is and to grow this program here in Waxahachie. The group has had national air time on the Morning Shows, had numerous articles written in newspapers all across the US. Photographers across the nation are volunteering their time to photograph these families for both maternity and hospital sessions. If you, a family member, or friend find yourself in a situation where you would like to utilize the group, you can visit the website and find your closest photographer. The session includes a CD with images at no charge to the family.
I am sad that I had to meet Angela and Ed under these circumstances, but I am very happy that I was able to do this for them. Sometimes it’s best to let the images speak for themselves. Just beautiful all around – inside and out.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege of photographing your family.
God Bless
