All images from this session are now available on the private wedding gallery. This has been my favorite to shoot and edit so far. The light was INCREDIBLE. The couple had fun. We had some great locations. The photography gods were just smiling on us.

My favorites from the Duale Session. I’m a dandelion freak. If I see one - I’ll definitely incorporate it into the shoot. I always find it interesting to see them in abundance in February though.

I first posted Baby Kooper’s newborn pictures earlier in the month. Every day, I go out to lunch, I run errands, I go to the store, I visit with my lawyer neighbors the Jenkins. Every day someone mentions to me at least once they have seen Baby Kooper on my blog. I attribute this to one person, his proud grandmother Ms. Ashmore. I ran into her today while I was having my makeover (the details might come in a later post). I recognized that I should have this woman on my payroll. The way she gushed over her grandson’s pictures can not be matched in a blog post, advertisement or display. This may not be a direct quote, but she said something along the lines of, " I had forgotten the depth of love I could have in my heart for someone". When my own daughter was born, I remember telling my friend Emily that I had no idea I could love someone so much. And just like that, I became a fan of Tabby Ashmore.
New life is just amazing. Tabby, you are everything a grandmother is supposed to be. Little Kooper is lucky to have you. And I am SOOOOO happy that you loved the pictures.

On Sunday, my little model came out in the paper. My interview was also in the downtown insert of the paper. Though I am happy with the interview, I only wish he would have mentioned my daughter when he wrote about my family. It’s hard to believe that it has only been six months since I opened the door to the studio. What a ride!! Thanks for being a part of it.

My photographer friend Rayna Hopkins volunteered to take some pictures of me for my website, myspace page, and facebook profile. Poor thing - she had no idea what she was getting into. I bet she has never encountered such a bossy client before :) Trust me, there is nothing worse than photographing a fellow photographer.
First I ask you to do some major trespassing - though it was totally worth it because it was my favorite.
Then we stop at the railroad graveyard. Where all the old rail road ties go to die. Did I mention she wore flip flops - what kind of photographer are you???? (Kidding). I endangered her feet making her follow me around to where I thought the light was the best.
Then I am a total goofball. I am the only person who would pick the defective dandelion.
Thank you Rayna for taking the time to deal with me today. I got exactly what I wanted.

I had such a good time photographing this fun couple yesterday. Dan had me bent over laughing. Towards the end I kept saying I wanted one last picture and the light was just so fabulous that I kept taking one more. That image posted below is Dan telling me he was done!
Ginger - I can’t wait for your wedding. I know everyone will have fun!!
